HOW WE WORK

WE COMBINE COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND PROFESSIONALISM

S Pinter Youth Projects children’s charity remains a part parent led / part community professional led organisation with deep community roots. We combine this with excellence and professionalism. We are ranked by OFSTED as outstanding or very good on every measure.

It brings together children and young people with diverse needs and backgrounds in an atmosphere of friendship, inclusivity and acceptance. It’s great to see them working together as a group and creating long lasting friendships.

WE MAINTAIN EXCELLENCE THROUGH THE VARIOUS PRINCIPLES

  1. We are led by the wishes and needs of children and young people and their families. Check out what parents and children say about our activities.
  2. We expect staff and volunteers to love working with children at S Pinter Youth Project.
  3. We provide staff and volunteers with the training and support to excel.
  4. We put children’s safety first and manage risk. All staff and volunteers undergo an enhanced CRB check.
  5. We continually look for ways to improve our services and the way we are run. We are registered with London Youth and are working to achieve an outstanding quality assurance to help us run the S Pinter Youth Project more effectively and efficiently.
  6. We evaluate our work to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our users in the best possible way and using our resources to achieve the highest standards. We have a robust monitoring and evaluating system in place to ensure we achieve our expected outcomes and are fulfilling the needs and wishes of participants and their parents and families.
  7. We established the AQA Unit Award Scheme in several of the courses we offer to measure progress and award success. An AQA unit is specifically designed at the start of each term, with unique targets for each child’s ability/disability. Upon achieving the outcomes, the children are awarded a Nationally Accredited AQA certificate to celebrate their success.
  8. We are members of London Youth and have achieved the Bronze Quality Mark and are currently working towards achieving the Silver Mark.
  9. We work in partnership with a wide range of organisations to get the best possible service to children and their families.
